BOBBINSTAND

Description  

A good quality and most attractive Victorian rosewood pin cushion and cotton reel stand, having a well turned circular base, raised on three squat bun feet. It has twelve bone spindles to receive the twelve cotton reels. The central column of baluster, bladed and inverted trumpet form, has a circular lipped bowl at the top, which is fitted with a mauve velvet pin cushion. The whole has a lovely colour, is in good condition and retains a patination.
