A beautiful Adam mahogany camelback settee, ca 1780. The moulded toprail of excellent colour and patina ends in reeded downswept arms, resting on a serpentine seatrail with embellishments of roundels with ribbon tied husks and flower decoration. The settee stands on eight finely turned and fluted legs retaining the original brass cups and castors. The seat with padded cushion. A very delicate and elegant piece of period furniture that would look great in a classic aswell as a contemporary setting.
