Double domed bureau bookcase

Description 

A superb Queen Anne, walnut, double domed bureau bookcase with carefuly choosen well figured veneers, retaining a beautiful colour and patina.  The upper part with a fully fitted interior, drawers, pigeon holes, folio divisions, an arched cupboard with another three small drawers. This upper part closed by domed, bevelled mirrored doors.  The lower part, also with fitted interior, secret drawers and a well.  The fall with bookrest.  Below the fall two short drawersover two long graduated drawers.  The whole is veneered and feather banded.
